Introduction of Econometrics

Anyone here knows what econometrics is? The application of statistical and mathematical theories to economics for the purpose of testing hypotheses and forecasting future trends. Econometrics takes economic models and tests them through statistical trials. The results are then compared and contrasted against real-life examples. (Investopedia, 2012). At least, you can check this dicipline area in store books. But, some people said reading literature book is kinda boring. You can watch and learn from many videos and YouTube.

I have an awesome channel about that. Mark Thoma, a Professor from Oregon University always updates his lecture videos every week after he lectured in his class. I prefer Mark Thoma because he always updating, good communication, and using English. So, this is the introduction video. Has length about 70 minutes. You can subscribe his all video in HERE.
